The Kia Sedona is by far the best selling large MPV in the UK to retail customers ie people spending their own money. Year-to-date Sedona retail sales at 2654 cars is 918 units ahead of the second placed large MPV, the Chrysler Voyager/Grand Voyager with Citroën C8 in third place. The strength of Sedona sales is shown by a 100% year-on-year increase in a market for large MPVs which has increased by 12.7%. In fact Sedona accounts for 74% of this year-on-year increase establishing it as a true market leader.

Paul Williams, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Limited said: "Sedona was the first product to put Kia on the map in the UK. Since its launch the Sedona has gone from strength to strength offering unbeatable value to a market segment that had been crying out for such a product."

He explained the enduring success of Kia’s Sedona MPV: "The success of Sedona is not just about competitive pricing. It is about combining a very spacious and versatile interior, which will accommodate seven adults in comfort or less people and a pile of gear, coupled with a strong diesel engine which is well on top of this task. Add the essential practicality of dual sliding doors, for those tight parking situations, and a great specification package including standard air conditioning, and it is not hard to see why Sedona has risen to the top of so many people’s shopping lists."

Kia is the official car supplier to the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) and through this involvement has been providing courtesy cars for all the LTA affiliated pre-Wimbledon tournaments in Surbiton, Birmingham, Nottingham and Eastbourne.

In an extended offer the latest Sedona LE & SE will be fitted with an in-car DVD, worth £1500, as standard equipment until 30 September; while the L has a £1000 cashback offer meaning that ownership of a Sedona begins from £13,508 or for as little as a £1 deposit with Kia’s unique finance offer.

The star of the line-up is the Sedona LE with its alloy wheels, privacy glass and rear spoiler. The interior includes a high specification six speaker CD audio and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The in-car DVD includes a 7-inch roof mounted screen that can be seen from the second or third row of seats, so children young and old can catch up on their latest movie or music video.

The Sedona is powered by a proven 2.9-litre common-rail turbo diesel engine, which makes light work of heavy loads and provides a potential range of more than 500 miles between fill-ups.

All Kias benefit from a three-year/unlimited mileage warranty, six-year anti-perforation warranty and three-years’ European roadside assistance for peace of mind when abroad.
