Kia Magentis ICE

Kia Magentis

Comfort and Refinement

The cabin is exceptionally spacious and due to its superb head, leg and shoulder room in both the front and rear it can easily accommodate a family of five. The driver's seat is height adjustable with a knee bolster for added comfort and the steering wheel is tilt adjustable enabling you to find a comfortable driving position. The level of refinement is high with the Magentis ICE equipped with air-conditioning, all-round electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, single slot CD/RDS radio, remote electric fuel flap & boot release, theatre dimming light, load area light, illuminated ignition key hole and door key hole, illuminated cigarette lighter and front and rear ashtrays.

On a practical level the Magentis incorporates large door bins, driver and passenger seat back pockets and a front centre armrest with storage box. There is a cup holder in the front console and a lockable lit glove box for the stowage of valuables.

How It Looks - Exterior

The exterior styling may not be to everyone's taste as it has a more Far-Eastern/American feel to it. However, the new Magentis has been restyled and features a new chrome radiator grille, deeper front bonnet lines and dual headlamps. The front bumper now includes a wide air dam and incorporates fog lamps. Chrome surrounds adorn the front fog lamps, windows, door handles and rubbing strips giving the Magentis a more modern look.

How It Looks - Interior

The interior of the Magentis is well put together being both functional and ergonomic. The plastics are a bit cheap looking but the upholstery and carpets should prove durable in the long term. Having said this the Magentis ICE is only £9,995 which is exceptional value for money and the savings have to come from somewhere.
