Kia Cerato
How It Looks - Interior
Overall, the Cerato's interior is well packaged, simple and modern considering the price. The plastics are a bit cheap looking but the leather upholstery (standard on the 2.0 SE model) and carpets should prove durable in the long term.
In Car Entertainment and Satellite Navigation
The 2.0 SE model is equipped with a face-off JVC stereo radio with in-dash CD and MP3 player with RDS. We found this system fiddly to operate but the sound quality was OK.
Rivals
- Citroen C4, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mazda3, Renault Megane, Vauxhall Astra & Volkswagen Golf
What We Liked
- The price
- High level of standard equipment
- All round disc brakes, ABS (anti-lock brakes) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution) and BAS (brake assist) standard on 2.0 SE model
What We Disliked
- Steering lacks feedback
- Hard to find a truly comfortable seating position
What We'd Like To See
- ESP as standard on the 2.0 SE model
- We would like to see Kia introduce a 5-year warranty like Hyundai
