We do not think that the kia cee’d will have VW, Ford and Vauxhall worried but it will take sales as it offers a complete all round package that will appeal to the money conscious buyer.

The exterior styling is up there with the best of European cars - a lot of people commented that they quite liked the Kia cee'd from the outside.

The interior trim on the whole was pretty good, but not class leading – the door pockets did not look like they would stand up to the foot abuse that they usually suffer from. We particularly liked the spongy dashboard, although most of the interior still felt a little Korean to erode the best of the European cars lead.

The Kia cee’d range is blessed with a seven year warranty, currently Kia is the only manufacturer in the UK to offer seven years cover. It covers every part of the car (except consumables), from front bumper to rear and from road to roof, for seven years or 100,000 miles. And it is transferable to subsequent owners, a major selling point for anyone trading in the car before the warranty period has expired.

The seven year warranty not only underwrites Kia’s faith in the reliability and build quality of cee’d range, it will help to protect the feature value of the cee'd when you come to resell it.

We do not think that the kia cee’d will have VW, Ford and Vauxhall worried but it will take sales as it offers a complete all round package that will appeal to the money conscious buyer. It is good to drive and well equipped at the right price - plus you shouldn't have to pay out for anything but servicing costs and consumables for seven years. Therefore the Kia cee'd comes highly recommended, especially if you have a budget to stick to.
