“It’s well-known that I have always been a huge fan of the Fiat 500, both the original and the latest model, but even I knew we would have to get something larger when William came along,” said Tom.

Tom Chambers of Strictly Come Dancing fame has taken delivery of his new Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Tom is currently starting in the romantic comedy musical Top Hat which is now on at the Bristol Hippodrome before heading to London’s Aldwych Theatre next month.

Tom is keeping it in the family in two ways: firstly, he remains in the Fiat Group ‘family’ after swapping his Fiat 500C for the Jeep, and secondly, the new car became necessary following the birth of his son, William, last year.

“It’s well-known that I have always been a huge fan of the Fiat 500, both the original and the latest model, but even I knew we would have to get something larger when William came along,” said Tom.

“The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a beautiful car. With bags of style, an economical diesel engine and, importantly, acres of space inside, it’s the perfect car for my young family. I am delighted with it.”

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0-litreV6 turbo diesel engine delivers 237bhp and 550 Nm of torque. Jeep has worked hard to lower emissions and decrease fuel consumption, the new Grand Cherokee is now capable of 34 mpg on the combined cycle.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee range starts at £37,995 (OTR) for the 3.0 CRD V6 Limited, rising to £45,795 (OTR) for the 3.0 CRD V6 Overland Summit.
