The new Jeep Cherokee has gone on sale priced from £25,495 for the 2.0-litre (140 bhp) Longitude entry level front wheel drive model, rising to £35,695 for the top of the range 2.0-litre Limited (170 bhp) Automatic 4x4.
There is a choice of two Fiat sourced 2.0-litre MultiJet 2 diesel engines – with either a 140bhp or 170bhp power outputs – a 3.2-litre V6 petrol Trailhawk will join the line-up later in the year.
At the time of launch there are three trim levels, Longitude, Longitude+ and Limited specifications. Core equipment includes body-coloured door mirrors, LED tail lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, Bluetooth, DAB radio, leather-wrapped steering wheel and rear park assist.
The Jeep Cherokee Longitude+ gains a Uconnect media centre with 8.4-inch touch screen, satellite navigation with Bluetooth voice recognition, and nine speakers with Alpine sub-woofer.
