Jeep Getting 'Used' To Winning Awards

The Jeep® Grand Cherokee has won yet another top used car award, adding to the growing collection of "second-hand" silverware.

The popular Grand Cherokee took the honours in the Used 4x4 of the Year category of Used Car Buyer magazine’s annual awards. Used Car Buyer is the UK’s only consumer magazine dedicated to buying and selling used cars.

The Jeep beat off rivals Mitsubishi Shogun and Nissan Terrano II after being marked highly for purpose, value for money, running costs, reliability, residual value and image.

Now in its fourth year, the awards competition was fiercer than ever – other cars in this tough category included the Honda CR-V, Isuzu Trooper, Land Rover Freelander and Toyota RAV-4.

Simon Elliott, Managing Director, Chrysler and Jeep in the UK said: "This is not the first used car award Jeep has won and I’m sure it won’t be the last. We know that Jeep vehicles offer outstanding durability and value for money, and it’s great to see the experts from the press agreeing with us."

The Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in four specification levels – 4.0 Limited, 2.7 CRD Limited, V8 Limited and the top-of-the-range V8 Overland. New prices start at £27,995.
