S-Type 3.0 And 4.2

The new S-TYPE Sport models are designed for the needs of those who demand a more purposeful, dynamic character, both inside and out. With its distinctive color keyed exterior, leather sports interior, up-rated sports suspension and brakes, the new Sport models are cars for the true driving enthusiast. The S-TYPE Sport is available with the 3.0 litre V6 engine and the 4.2 litre V8 engine. In summary, the distinguishing features of the Sport models are:

• New ZF six-speed automatic transmission - standard on 4.2-litre V8 Sport, option for the 3.0-litre V6 Sport models
• Leather sport seats with eight-way power adjustment for driver and six-way adjustment for passenger
• Leather sports steering wheel
• Grey-stained bird's-eye maple veneers (replaces Bronze-stained bird's eye maple veneers)
• Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) system
• 12.5 inch diameter x 1.18 inch wide ventilated front brake discs for high performance
• Body-colored exterior (grille surround, bumper blades and trunk plinth) and black window surrounds
• 17 x 7.5 inch 'Herakles' alloy wheels
