Jaguar Announces Prices For X-TYPE 2.2 Litre Diesels

The Sport Premium derivative features a strong equipment package, offering all the convenience benefits of the SE model, but packed with sporting cues. These also now include satellite navigation, Jaguar Voice, xenon headlights, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, carbon fibre facia, sports leather/Alcantara seats, 18" Proteus alloy wheels, and Dynamic Stability Control with Emergency Brake Assist. Prices start at £28,495 on-the-road for the Diesel Saloon version.

The Sovereign model is available on the 2.2 diesel and 3 litre saloons. This luxury top of the range model includes, in addition to the specification of the SE, leather seats with contrast piping and memory function, walnut and leather rimmed steering wheel, power foldback mirrors, Premium Sound and Jaguar Voice. The Sovereign also gains Bluetooth, centre headrest and mats for the 2006 Model Year.

The top of the range 3.0 Sovereign and Sport Premium Saloons are both priced at £29,995 with both the Estate models at £31,165. Both Sovereign and Sport Premium 2.2 Diesel Saloons are also priced identically at £28,495, with the estate at £29,665.

The Jaguar Sports Collection body styling package is now available on both X-TYPE saloon and estate models. Depending on model, the full Sports Collection package can be ordered for all existing X-TYPE diesel and petrol saloons and estates - or retro fitted - for around £1500 for both the saloon and estate, excluding wheels.
