New Isuzu Pickup Is Muck-Spreader's Mate
Published: 16th September 2002
The Surrey-based company has just taken delivery of five Isuzu TF 4x4 Single Cabs to service a new contract with Thames Water.
The TF Pickups will be used to carry equipment into inaccessible farmland where muck-spreader drivers fertilize fields with recycled sewerage sludge.
And Operations Manager, Roger Reeve, is already so impressed with the new Isuzus he says more orders could follow when Thames Waste Management wins new business.
He said: "We have used Fords and Toyotas in the past and had originally ordered Ford Rangers but were let down on delivery dates.
"Then I looked at the Isuzu Pickup and was amazed at the 12,000
mile service interval which is twice as long as the competition. Also,
the dealer salesman was very welcoming and professional, with no false
promises."
