The UK’s most famous shepherdess, Katy Cropper, has rustled up an Isuzu Rodeo as part of a sponsorship deal which will see her driving the pickup to top sheepdog displays, game fairs and competitions.

The only woman to win TV’s ‘One Man And His Dog’, Katy also runs team-building ‘bonding’ events where employees end the day guiding geese through obstacles after training sheepdogs to obey their every command.

“It is great fun and I have never yet failed to get a business person to make one of my dogs follow their commands,” said Katy who lives on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border with her husband, five-year-old daughter and countless sheepdogs, geese and ducks.

In fact, it is sheepdog, ‘Try’ which Katy hopes will qualify her this year for the ‘English National Sheepdog Trials’.

It was ‘Try’s’ great-great-grandmother who won Katy the BBC TV title and set her on the road to shepherdess stardom which also includes after-dinner speaking, book-writing and dog-training DVDs.

Isuzu (UK) Limited Brand Manager, Kenyon Neads, said: “Katy is a wonderfully bubbly, enthusiastic personality and a perfect ambassador for Isuzu at the countless countryside events she attends.”

Winner of a host of accolades, the Isuzu Rodeo range now starts at £13,999 (on the road but excluding VAT) for the 2.5 litre Denver.

All models have alloy wheels, air-conditioning, leather steering wheel a Pioneer CD/Tuner/MP3 Player, tinted electric windows, ABS with EBD, rear step bumper and three-point seat-belts for all five occupants.
