The highly-acclaimed new Rodeo pickup is helping entice a growing number of new Isuzu dealers, with the franchise now boasting 97 outlets.
No fewer than 25 new dealers were appointed last year and National Franchise Development Manager, Terry Leach, is confident of reaching his target of 120 by the end of 2005.
He said: "We are well on the way to achieving a strong geographical spread, making it as convenient as possible for pickup owners to have their vehicle serviced and for potential customers to take a test drive.
"The Isuzu franchise is an ideal add-on for existing car dealers. The universal praise heaped on the Rodeo by the Press is also contributing to our success in attracting high calibre dealers."
In its first year on sale, the new Isuzu Rodeo has won three major accolades. What Van? magazine voted it ‘Best Pick-Up’, while 4x4 magazine declared it ‘Commercial Vehicle Of The Year - 2004’.
Finally - despite fierce competition from all key lifestyle pickup rivals - The Caravan Club has awarded the Rodeo ‘Towcar Of The Year - Utility Class’.
