Isuzu D-Max NCAP Safety Results

The New Isuzu D-Max

The New Isuzu D-Max

The all-new Isuzu D-Max pick-up has been awarded a four-star safety rating by independent vehicle assessment organisation, Euro NCAP.

The Isuzu D-Max scored 83% Adult Protection, 67% Child Protection, 51% Pedestrian Protection and 71% Safety Assist.

We cannot compare this to other pick-up as they have not undergone the new stringent testing from Euro NCAP but when you look at the 2008 test of the Nissan Navara, the Isuzu D-Max is commendable.

It is pleasing to see that Electronic Stability Programme and front seatbelt reminder system are both standard across the range.

The all-new Isuzu D-Max is available in three body styles – single, extended and double cab – with prices starting from £14,499 + VAT for the entry-level single cab 4x2, rising to £21,499 +VAT for the top-of-the-range Utah double cab 4x4 Automatic.  The Isuzu D-Max is fitted with a completely re-engineered, 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine and is available with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.

The D-Max is backed up five-year/120,000-mile warranty which is currently ahead of the competition.
