Invicta S1 Sports Car

The all-new 170 mph Invicta S1 sportscar will make its race track debut at the famous Silverstone Circuit, Northants, on 12 April. This will be the first ever opportunity for the public to see the exciting British-built two-seater in high-speed action. The Invicta will not be racing, but it will be used throughout the day as the official ‘Course Car’ – completing many laps of the 1.6 mile National Circuit.

  • Unique chance for public to see and hear 170mph coupe in action
  • Production of first customer cars on schedule for March delivery
The Clerk of the Course will use the Invicta to ensure the safe, efficient running of the Vintage Sports-Car Club’s 11-race programme of its Spring Start meeting. While carrying out his duties, he will also display the Invicta S1’s sensational acceleration, fantastic grip, balanced handling, and the glorious exhaust sound produced by its 320bhp, 4.6-litre V8 engine.

"There are many cherished original Invicta cars within the VSCC and the Club’s invitation was too good to miss. We are delighted to supply our new coupe as a course car at several events this year," comments The Invicta Car Company’s Chairman Michael Bristow. "As planned, full production of the S1 started in January, our customer test-drive programme is underway and first deliveries will be completed during March."

Response to the £69,950 Invicta S1 has been overwhelmingly positive since it was launched at the British International Motor Show in October 2002. The S1 is hand-built by a team of highly-skilled technicians, and is produced in strictly limited numbers at The Invicta Car Company’s facility in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
