The Kelion family will welcome in the new year with a brand new set of wheels … and what better prize for a busy family of six than Hyundai’s Trajet MPV?
In 2004 Hyundai became the official sponsor of the Twins and Multiple Births Association (Tamba), including their grand family fun day in Telford over the summer, and provided a Trajet 2.0 GSI for the Tamba end of year raffle.
The grand total of £11,675 was raised by Tamba during the raffle, which will go towards forthcoming Tamba projects.
The Kelions, comprising mum Sally, dad Andrew, and children Saul, nine, Raki, seven, and twins Nathan and Joel, four, entered this special Tamba prize raffle in association with Hyundai Car (UK) Ltd to win the £15,495 Trajet 2.0 GSI - and were amazed to find they had won!
Tamba was formed in 1978, with the aim of providing support and advice to the parents of twins and triplets. Since then Tamba has done invaluable work in bringing together families of twins and triplets, helping them share and solve problems associated with bringing up two or more children of the same age.
Hyundai, the makers of one of the best value people carriers available in the UK, understands what a challenge bringing up children can be … and so the Trajet is the ideal family addition, with superb flexibility and versatility.
All Trajets have the following equipment as standard: driver, passenger and side airbags, anti lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, power steering, five three-point rear seatbelts, seatbelt pretensioners, front and rear air conditioning, electric front and rear windows, stereo RDS radio/CD unit, double folding second and third row seats (second and third row seats are removable), and sliding outer seats on second row.
The limited edition Trajet SE is also currently available. DVD player, privacy glass, SmartNav satellite navigation and reversing sensors are all standard. The Trajet SE is available as a petrol or diesel, with both manual and automatic options. Prices start at just £16,495.
The Kelions were over the moon to find out they had won a new car, meaning their well used family runabout can finally be pensioned off!
Jennie Egan, Hyundai Trajet Product Manager, said: "We were delighted to sponsor Tamba activity in 2004, and are thrilled with the money raised for the excellent work that Tamba does.
"We feel the Trajet is the ideal addition to any busy family; tough enough to withstand endless school runs and days out!"
The Trajet is the only seven seater in the UK to be covered by a five year, unlimited mileage, fully transferable warranty. Hyundai’s warranty also covers every other model in the Hyundai range.Published 24 December 2004
