Brits Fall For The Charms Of Hyundai's Sexy Coupe!
Published: 10th January 2003
Up to the end of December, some 5,000 Coupes had been sold around the UK, over 1,800 more than the next closest territory. Next up was Spain with 3,223 sales, and then Italy with 2,363.
Not only have the public been bowled over by the sleek Coupe, the press have also taken to the company’s sporting offering.
Helen Draper, Coupe Product Manager, said: "We are delighted the Coupe has been such a big hit here in the UK. The sleek lines, good performance and excellent value for money clearly strike a chord with the UK buyer – we are confident more people will fall for the charm of the Hyundai Coupe in 2003."
And the Coupe has recently become an even more attractive proposition as it comes with Hyundai’s pioneering five year warranty. The warranty, hailed by many as the best in the industry, is a manufacturer-backed offering, which is fully transferrable between owners and has a genuine unlimited mileage element. Some perishable items are even included. And the Coupe, like all new Hyundais, comes with three year RAC Assistance as standard.
The Coupe range kicks off with the £14,495 1.6S, continues with the £16,495 2.0 SE and culminates with the potent 165bhp, 136mph 2.7 V6 at £18,495. All prices are on-the-road.
