Hyundai Goes From Strength To Strength

Hyundai achieved sales of 1,573 in February, giving the company a 1.72 per cent market share; higher than Mitsubishi, Mazda, Seat and Volvo.
Hyundai’s sales have risen a mighty 30 per cent since the same time last year. Year to date this year, Hyundai has sold 3,887 vehicles, up 22 per cent – giving Hyundai its best ever first two month figure.
Star performers in February were the Getz with 847 sales, Santa Fe with 196, Matrix at 170 and Coupe with 142. Hyundai’s recently introduced off-roader, the Terracan, has continued to beat all expectations and has sold 207 examples in the two months this year.
Hyundai is still the only manufacturer to offer a permanent five year warranty across its entire range. The warranty offers a full five year unlimited mileage cover, which is transferable between owners.
Hyundai’s profile is set to rise even further this year, as it embarks on a host of activities to mark its sponsorship of the Euro 2004 football tournament.
