Hyundai Getz 1.3 CDX
What We Liked
- Exterior and interior styling
- Ride and handling
- Gearbox
- 5-Year Warranty
What We Disliked
- Nothing to dislike
What We'd Like To See
- An integral stereo
Build Quality
The overall build quality is good - our only concern were the door bins which didn't feel very robust and flexed under pressure - only a minor niggle. Not up to the same standard as the class leading Volkswagen Polo but Hyundai's 5-Year warranty surpasses anything else on the market.
Value For Money
At £9,645 the Getz 1.3 CDX offers a high standard specification and with the introduction of Hyundai's 5-Year unlimited mileage warranty residual values should also improve making the Getz an excellent value for money package.
Overall Opinion
If you are someone who likes to spend their money wisely then the Hyundai Getz is the car for you. The industry leading 5-Year fully transferable warranty has propelled Hyundai into the mainstream of car manufacturers and the Getz should appeal to all age groups. Of course the Hyundai badge will be a stumbling block to some potential purchasers but Hyundai are one of the UK fastest's growing brands and are certainly a company to watch.
