Hyundai Tucson

A two wheel drive (2WD) Hyundai Tucson is also available The front-wheel-drive version is available with a 2.0 litre petrol and 2.0 litre diesel engine with a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.

Ease of Use

The Hyundai Tucson is a very intuitive car to drive and overall visibility is excellent. Our test vehicle featured privacy glass at the rear which did make it awkward to reverse at night as visibility is restricted. The cabin is uncluttered, ergonomically laid out and the controls are very easy to operate.

The Tucson has a very versatile interior, the rear seats have a double folding operation which offers a totally flat load area. The boot has a hard load cover to keep prying eyes at bay and a luggage net keeps your shopping or loose items secure. There are also seat back hooks on the rear seats.

The 'Flip Up' rear tailgate window is useful for loading or retrieving items in tight parking spaces or for more discreet access.

On a practical level the Hyundai Tucson 2.7 V6 CDX model incorporates a wealth of thoughtful interior features including adjustable intermittent front wipers, cruise control, front windscreen de-icer, mudflaps - front & rear, 2 x 12v power outlets, rear wash/wipe with intermittent facility, roof rails, trip computer, cigarette lighter and ashtray, door courtesy lights, large front & rear door pockets and an underseat storage tray ( front passenger).

Safety and Security

The 2.7 V6 CDX automatic model is equipped with the following safety and security equipment as standard: 3x3 point rear seatbelts, 4WD system, front & rear adjustable head restraints, adjustable steering column height, driver & front passenger airbags, side & roof airbags, ABS (anti-lock brakes), EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), childproof rear door locks, engine immobiliser, height adjustable front seatbelts, high mounted brake light, ISOfix child seat anchorage (rear only), load cover, lockable glovebox, locking wheel nuts, power assisted steering, remote central locking with alarm, seat belt pre-tensioners with load limiters and TCS (traction control system).
