Build Quality

The Terracan has been well screwed together, the materials used should prove durable and are in keeping with a vehicle that will used both on and off road. We did not suffer from any rattles or squeaks, and all the panels fitted well. Hyundai must have confidence in the Terracan because they have backed the vehicle up with a full five-year/unlimited mileage warranty.

Value For Money

Hyundai have produced a real 4x4 with true off road capability at a soft roader price with an industry leading 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty. Value for money, you bet it is. We are going to make the rare decision of awarding 5 stars for value for money.

Overall Opinion

The Hyundai Terracan is a well made and capable 4x4 vehicle which offers a superb all round package at a great price - plus a 5-year warranty. Hyundai are either mad or firmly believe that you are not going to face any serious problems with the Terracan. Yes, there are better 4x4's and no it doesn't have the kudos of a BMW, Land Rover or Mercedes-Benz. However, if you are someone who likes to spend their money wisely and are not a badge snob then we recommend that you test drive the Terracan. As Hyundai themselves say ‘a car first a badge second’ and we firmly believe that you will be pleasantly surprised as we were.
