We always had a smile on our face whilst driving the Coupe and there was always a fight over who would drive it.

Build Quality

The Hyundai Coupe has been built to a high standard although inside there were a few screw heads exposed which we would have preferred not to have seen. The paint finish was rich and panel gaps were all acceptable. Hyundai must have confidence in the Coupe because they have backed the vehicle up with a full five-year/unlimited mileage warranty.

Value For Money

The Hyundai Coupe is great value for money with the entry-level model starting at only £14,795 climbing to £19,795 for the range topping 2.7 V6 model. The competitive price places a stunning coupe within the reach of the average saloon car buyer or company car user.

There is an automatic gearbox option which costs an extra £1000 on the 2.0 SE and 2.7 V6 models.

The best is yet to come and that is the five-year unlimited mileage warranty, the extra two years over the usual three-year warranty offered by competitors has to be worth it in years four and five and when you come to sell the vehicle. We are sure that you can see the benefits of advertising your Coupe with 2 years full manufacturers warranty left to run. The Coupe is protected by a six-year anti-perforation warranty and is covered by 3 years RAC cover and recommended service intervals are every 10,000 miles.

Conclusion

We enjoyed our time with the Hyundai Coupe which in our opinion is the best value Coupe in its class and the only one with a five-year fully transferable warranty.

We always had a smile on our face whilst driving the Coupe and there was always a fight over who would drive it.

If you are in the market for a Coupe circa the £15-20k mark - you must test drive the Hyundai, it would certainly make our shopping list.
