For most owners, depreciation is the biggest single cost associated with running a new car, often exceeding all other combined costs. It is good news then that Britain’s leading car valuation authority CAP is forecasting a residual value which places the car level with the Audi A4 2.0 and Volvo S60TS at the 3 year 60,000 mile point. The RV is just 1% shy of the figure for a BMW 320i SE, to establish the new Accord at the top end of the "quality" sector.
Affordable Leasing Rates
Average rentals of two of the top 10 leasing companies in the UK establish the new Accord as one of the most affordable cars in the quality D sector. In particular the Accord 2.0 Executive (average rental £372), undercuts such benchmark competitors as the Audi A4 2.0 SE (£386), Volvo S60 2.0 TS (£406) and Saab 9-3 1.8t Linear (£397). The lead-in Accord 2.0 SE has an average monthly rate of just £325.
