Honda Accord Tourer 2.4 i-VTEC Executive

2.4 i-VTEC Executive Tourer

How It Drove - Performance

The Tourer’s two new petrol engines use the advanced i-VTEC technology which combines both VTEC (variable valve timing and lift, electronic control) and VTC (variable timing control) to deliver power at the exact moment you need it with remarkable fuel efficiency.

Around town the Tourer was a joy to drive the 2.4 engine complements the 5-speed automatic gearbox perfectly, resulting in seamless gear changes. In fully automatic mode Honda’s intelligent Grade Logic Control system provides a series of programs that recognise different styles of driving and varying road conditions.

On the open road the Tourer comes alive and its full power can be realised. The automatic transmission features a sequential shift mode which allows you to simply knock the gear lever forward to change up and backwards to change down particularly useful over winding roads for a more sporty controlled driving experience.

On the motorway the Tourer's powerful 2.4 engine cruises effortlessly whilst being supremely quiet even at motorway speeds which enables you to cover great distances in comfort.
