Honda Pioneers Fixed Price Repairs For Older Cars

Honda is the first car company in Britain to launch fixed price repairs on models more than three years old, with the launch of Honda Happiness this month.

The new programme allows owners of three year old cars to "keep their Honda a Honda", while saving money on common repairs - and being sure to get the job done properly.

Honda Happiness repair prices were benchmarked against 600 non franchised garages to ensure competitiveness. But the real attraction of these prices is that the work will be carried out by Honda trained technicians, using only Honda Genuine Parts.

Available from participating Honda dealers and on all models in the company’s range (except NSX and S2000), the scheme will cover popular repair tasks such as battery, exhaust, brake, timing belt and windscreen wiper replacement. Customers will be quoted just a single repair cost, inclusive of all parts and labour costs, irrespective of which Honda model they own or where they live.

This single price point means for example that a Legend customer will pay the same amount for replacement brake pads as a Civic customer.
