Build Quality
As we have come to expect from Honda reliability is legendary and is supported with a 3-year/90,000 mile (whichever comes first) mechanical warranty.
The quality of materials used are very good in a vehicle of this price and should prove durable and hard wearing.
Value For Money
At £16,375 OTR the Honda Civic 2.2 CTDi SE is good value for money for such a well-specified vehicle.
Hondas are among the slowest depreciating cars so residual values should prove strong.
Overall Opinion
As Honda's TV advert says 'hate something, change something, make something better' and with the diesel Civic Honda have done just that creating a class leading diesel engine which is quiet, refined, clean and fuel efficient.
The diesel powered British built Honda Civic is beautifully designed, superb to drive, reassuringly reliable and retains high residual values.
We commend Honda for the Civic's radical design and for producing such a well-conceived and executed vehicle.
