Ease of Use

The Honda Accord is a very intuitive car to drive and visibility is good all round. The cabin is uncluttered, ergonomically laid out and the controls are easy to use.

Rain sensing windscreen wipers are standard on the Executive model and engage the front wipers automatically when the amount of water on the windscreen has been determined.

The rear second row seats feature a 60:40 split accommodating larger items, the boot has a light and incorporates tie down hooks for securing items to the boot floor.

On a practical level Honda have incorporated a wealth of thoughtful interior features including a digital odometer, audible headlights on reminder, illuminated ignition switch, internally adjustable headlights height, front interior welcome light, fuel filler release, digital clock, rear interior welcome light, front map lights, adjustable dashboard illumination, low fuel warning light, electric adjustable and heated door mirrors, rear screen integrated aerial, rear centre headrest and 3-point seatbelt, driver and passenger seatback pockets, rear cupholders, sunglasses storage box, pollen filter, front power socket, ashtray - front and rear and a rear screen integrated aerial.

The following safety & security equipment is standard on the Honda Accord 2.2 i-CTDi Executive:

Dual front SRS airbags, dual side SRS airbags, dual curtain SRS airbags - front and rear, anti-lock Braking System (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist, high level rear brake light, side impact protection beams, front seat belt pre-tensioners, height adjustable front seat belts, 5 x 3 point seat belts, ISOFIX child seat restraint mechanism, headlight washers, dual tone horn, front ventilated disc brakes, rear disc brakes, external temperature monitor, Honda advanced pedestrian safety system, rolling code ECU engine immobiliser, Honda superlocks (deadlocks), externally visible vehicle identification number (VIN), remote keyless entry, central locking, high security integrated audio, lockable glovebox, locking wheelnuts and alarm system (interior monitoring).
