Volkswagen Touareg Guide

The Volkswagen Touareg is has been rated under the new car insurance group ratings : Volkswagen Touareg insurance groups start at group 35 and rise to group 46. Base models are relatively expensive to insure, whilst the higher specification cars are expensive (group 40+ being amongst the highest ratings) to insure.
Volkswagen Touareg emissions (CO2) range from 184 g/km to 239 g/km. Base models have above average CO2 emissions, higher spec. models have very high CO2 emissions. An emissions figure of sub 100 g/km would be considered very good and above 200 g/km is very high. The lower the CO2 output, the lower car tax band and environmental impact.
