The Ford S-MAX model range lies within the price bracket of £19,895 - £28,750. The S-MAX has been awarded a five star NCAP Adult rating by the European New Car Assessment Programme out of a possible five stars. Based on this Euro NCAP rating the S-MAX fairs very well in an accident having been given the highest possible result. Ford S-MAX insurance groups start at group 10 and rise to group 14. Base models are average (group 10 being average) to insure, whilst the higher specification cars are above average to insure.
