Citroen C5 Guide
The C5 has been awarded a five star NCAP adult occupancy protection rating by the European New Car Assessment Programme out of a possible five stars. Based on this Euro NCAP rating the C5 fairs very well in an accident having been given the highest possible result.
The Citroen C5 is has been rated under the new car insurance group ratings : Citroen C5 insurance groups start at group 20 and rise to group 35. Base models are below average to insure, whilst the higher specification cars are relatively expensive to insure.
Citroen C5 emissions (CO2) range from 120 g/km to 189 g/km. Base models have very good CO2 emissions, higher spec. models have relatively high CO2 emissions. An emissions figure of sub 100 g/km would be considered very good and above 200 g/km is very high. The lower the CO2 output, the lower car tax band and environmental impact.
