This isn’t a new model; it is more of a makeover with a number of enhancements and improvements to bring it up to date.
There is a choice of three Euro 6 compliant engines, either a diesel 1.5-litre TDCi which now outputs 95PS, a 5PS improvement over the old model; emissions are rated at 115g/km with a combined fuel figure of 64.2 mpg according to NEDC testing.

Driving dynamics have been improved with revised springs, dampers, rear torsion beam where the Electronic Stability Programme and Electronic Power Assisted Steering settings have also been tweaked for European roads.
The interior sees a number of styling enhancements, including partial leather seats on Titanium models, there is now a charcoal black lower instrument panel, centre console and door boards. Where the instrument cluster now features a light dimming function and there are chrome-surround rings to compliment the electric window switches. And noise has been reduced with thicker sound deadening materials.

All models feature Ford’s SYNC voice-controlled connectivity system with a 4-inch colour display in the centre console. Satellite navigation and a Rear View Camera will be available later in the year.Published 14 July 2015
