Class-leading equipment is reflected throughout the new Ulysse’s three trim levels – Dynamic, Eleganza and Prestigio. All models come with automatic, dual-zone climate control, power steering, remote control central locking with deadlocks and an electric child safety door lock, electric front windows, six airbags, an 8-speaker CD stereo, ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD and Brake Assist, front foglamps and a trip computer.
Eleganza specification adds multi-zone climate control, electric folding door mirrors, cruise control, parking sensors, electric second row windows, a child surveillance mirror, roof bars, 15" alloy wheels and Fiat’s ground-breaking CONNECT telematics; an on-line system that connects the driver to an extensive range of services via a live phone link to an English-speaking operator. The system also incorporates pictogram satellite navigation with voice synthesis and a Dual Band GSM phone.
The top of the range Prestigio specification further adds a full leather interior including steering wheel and gearknob, a six ‘Captain’s Chair’ seating configuration, electrically adjustable heated front seats and door mirrors with memory, a six CD autochanger, rain-sensitive wipers, dusk-sensitive headlamps, an automatically dimming rear mirror and CONNECT NAV+.
CONNECT NAV+ incorporates voice commands with a 7" colour LCD/TFT display screen, a Dual Band GSM phone and a full map satellite navigation system.
The new Fiat Ulysse is available with a choice of three power units: A 2.0 litre 16-valve 136 bhp petrol engine, and two common rail turbodiesels: a 109 bhp 2.0 litre JTD, and a new 128 bhp 2.2 litre JTD. The 5-speed manual gearbox range is complemented by optional automatic/sequential transmission on the 2.0 litre petrol version.

Vertical, highly visible rear light clusters (a Fiat design characteristic), aerodynamically sculpted, body-coloured folding door mirrors incorporating turn signals, two-in-one central door handles, practical, bump- resistant side mouldings, and aluminium roof bars designed to fit together at the rear of the roof guides to resemble a spoiler… all combine streamlined, cutting edge design with the robust practicality essential in a multi-purpose family vehicle.
