The new 5-door Fiat Panda goes on sale in the UK at the end of Febraury 2012 priced from £8,900.
Initially there is a choice of three engines: two petrol units - 1.2-litre petrol (69 bhp), 0.9-litre TwinAir (85bhp) and a diesel 1.3-litre MultiJet 2 turbodiesel (75bhp).
And there are three trim levels Pop, Easy and Lounge
The Fiat Panda Pop trim receives electric windows, central locking, Dualdrive electric power steering, four airbags and body colour bumpers. Options include ESP, roof rails and black pastel paint.
The Fiat Panda Easy adds remote central locking, air conditioning, roof rails and a higher grade audio system.
The top of the range Fiat Panda Lounge additionally receives heated electric mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, body coloured mirrors and door handles, and side mouldings.
There is a long list of options which lets you specify a choice of 10 exterior colours and 6 interior/dashboard combinations. In addition, you can add a Low Speed Collision Mitigation system. This uses a laser sensor on the windscreen to scan a space a short distance in front of the vehicle to determine the risk of a collision. It is capable of automatically activating emergency braking at speeds less than 18.6mph.
