Club Ricambi Battery Programme - With USP

Club Ricambi, Fiat Auto UK's parts trade club, has just launched a new battery programme to its dealer network through a series of seminars. Always wanting to distinguish itself from other manufacturers' trade programmes, Club Ricambi is offering a new type of battery with its own unique selling point - the batteries have four terminal posts.

The battery range from Banner Batteries is called Uni Bull. Each battery has four terminal connection posts which enables just five Uni Bull batteries to cover 95% of the UK's vehicle applications. This dramatically reduces the requirement for workshops to stock many different batteries, reducing the quantity and value of stock needing to be held. The range will also be favoured by customers who use additional electrical equipment, such as radios for taxis. With spare terminal posts, the wiring connections are made quick and easy.

Andy Hayward, service and parts marketing manager, Fiat Auto UK, says: "Again Club Ricambi has focused on a different angle to the norm. We have not gone for the lowest price battery as there will always be someone who can offer something cheaper, but we have searched for an alternative and found Uni Bull. We believe the savings that workshops will make with reduced stocking and increased off-the-shelf availability, far outweighs the 'who is offering the cheapest battery?' mentality."

The Uni Bull battery range is available from all Club Ricambi dealerships and comes with a four year warranty.
