Fiat 500 Ferrari Special Edition
If you take in your Ferrari for a service or warranty work, don’t be surprised if you drive away in a Fiat 500.
Sixty special editions of Fiat’s 500 supermini are being delivered to Ferrari UK’s dealer network for use as customer courtesy cars.
Ferrari has chosen the small Fiat for its clients who appreciate Italian style, and like unique products. In total, 200 Fiat 500 models have been built exclusively for the Ferrari dealer network across Europe.
Based on the 500 Sport version and distinguished by traditional Ferrari red paintwork, the exclusive variants are fitted with Fiat’s lively 1.4-litre 100 bhp engine and offer special tuning and exhaust in harmony with the sporting spirit of the Prancing Horse.
The engineering features were designed and produced by Magneti Marelli, a leading components company in the Fiat Group which supplies high-tech parts to Fiat and Ferrari. The same sporty theme can also be found in some details such as red brake callipers, a sports pedal set, special black steering wheel with red stitching, and 16-inch alloy wheels with 195/45 tyres.
Compared with the already well-equipped Sport version, the Fiat 500s customised for Ferrari also have automatic climate control, electric sunroof, prestigious Frau leather interior, stereo, fog lights, numbered plate on the dashboard and Limited Edition wording on the kick plates.
