Maranello Sales Grow Retail Network In The South East

Maranello Sales Ltd Egham - Surrey

Maranello Sales Ltd (Maranello), Europe’s largest Ferrari and Maserati dealer, announces today that it has completed the acquisition of a Maserati dealership in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, and purchased a second major showroom site in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Both sites are now in the process of being refurbished with the prestigious Ferrari/Maserati corporate identity. The St. Albans dealership, acquired from HR Owen, is already trading as ‘Maranello Sales St. Albans’ whilst the Sevenoaks site, which brings the two famous Italian marques back to Kent, will open to the public on 1 January 2004.

These new additions to the Maranello retail network continue the strategic developments recently undertaken to position Maranello as the premier retailer of specialist sports cars in the South of England.

Robert Hazelwood, Managing Director for Ferrari/Maserati UK, commented: "I am delighted by the recent additions to our retail network, which now complete a very important market area for us. This marks a further exciting chapter in the Maranello partnership with Ferrari and Maserati."

Earlier this month Maranello appointed Lewis Arthur to the role of Franchise Director. This new role has been created to help increase the business focus on retail growth within Ferrari and Maserati.

In March 2003, Tower Garage, Maranello’s Ferrari and Maserati showroom in Egham, Surrey, was officially reopened following a complete redevelopment. The capacity of the showroom was more than doubled, and can now display up to 50 cars.

In 2002 Maranello opened the largest Ferrari and Maserati service centre in the world. The all new, purpose built facility in Surrey is dedicated to providing outstanding service to owners of contemporary models as well as classic Ferraris and Maseratis. It is the only authorised service point in the UK equipped to service the F40, F50 and Enzo Ferrari models.

Maranello Sales is the retail arm of Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, the official UK importer for Ferrari and Maserati and subsidiary of Inchcape plc.
