Daihatsu’s new, high-value Terios Tracker mini 4x4 is now available with free automatic transmission – until 30 September.
Not only is this a £1,010 saving but a staggering £1,995 reduction on the automatic version of the Terios EL which the Tracker replaced earlier this year.
It means the Terios Tracker – which enjoys identical equipment to the old EL – can now be put on-the-road for £9,995.
Far from being a stripped-out entry-level model, the Tracker boasts: power-steering, twin front airbags, electric front windows and door mirrors, central-locking, a radio/CD player, alloy wheels and full-time four-wheel drive with an electronic diff-lock.
The Terios has an advanced 1.3 litre petrol engine which, when combined with the responsive four-speed automatic, returns almost 40 mpg on the Extra Urban Cycle. Meanwhile, the comprehensive warranty includes three years’ unlimited mileage, six years’ anti-corrosion cover and three years’ vehicle recovery.Published 3 August 2003
