Japanese compact car specialist Daihatsu has increased its dealer network representation in the Isle of Wight with the appointment of Staddlestones garage.
The family-owned dealer first opened its doors more than 20 years ago and now represents three brands across two sites. Together with its 40 experienced staff, it has established excellent relationships with its current franchises and customers. It will offer a full range of new and used Daihatsu products at its bright, warm and welcoming purpose-built showroom in Church Road, Bembridge.
Dealer Principal, Chris Perkis, said: "The current market conditions are driving consumers to more affordable vehicles. Daihatsu's compact cars and low operating costs are a natural choice for us to help generate new converts to add to our already loyal customer base."
Paul Hegarty, Operations Director, Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited, said: "Global environmental issues, social changes, and shifts in consumer values are all combining to put compact cars in the spotlight. Since Daihatsu was established in 1907, we have been focused on compact cars. Big is not better anymore. Rather, small is smart. Our cars are friendly to the environment as well as being people friendly. As a company we aim to become the world&'s leading compact car manufacturer."
The Coleshill-based Japanese compact car specialist appointed 20 new dealers in 2008 and currently boasts 98 UK showrooms.
Meanwhile, Daihatsu's incredible five year warranty and five years roadside assistance continues to demonstrate its proven credentials in helping owners reduce their motoring costs. The Daihatsu blend of great value for money, excellent fuel economy, low emissions, small road fund licences and proven reliability continue to make it a popular choice. And for a short time only - as part of Daihatsu's 'Spring Savers' campaign - the Daihatsu Terios S, and Daihatsu Materia (manual only) are even better value, with £1000 off until 30th June 2009.Published 23 April 2009
