With Wagner’s famous ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ providing a rousing score, the latest creative commercial from French car manufacturer, Citroen - the people that brought you the award winning dancing robot – confidently presents its new Citroen C5 saloon as ‘Unmistakeably German’. The audacious 60-second film in partnership with Euro RSCG plays off the reputation of Citroen’s German rivals to highlight the Teutonic qualities of the brand new C5. The blonde hero drives his “unidentified” car from a swashbuckling duel outside a snowy gothic castle to a traditional Bavarian hofbräuhaus, before joining the Autobahn to Berlin where he pulls up in front of the historic Brandenburg Gates. the full story

Citroen has announced that its new C5 saloon will be available in showrooms from 2nd April 2008. Benefiting from a completely new approach by the company’s designers, the C5 is the successful combination of French flair and Teutonic-like levels of quality, coupled with the highest standards of comfort, safety and in-car technology for which the Company is renowned. Throughout the C5’s rigorous development process, the key ambition was to achieve the highest levels of quality, style, comfort and safety for both the saloon as well as the spacious and practical Tourer. Exceptionally well equipped, the C5 and C5 Tourer will boast a long list of standard features, a choice of six engines and, for the first time in the segment, the option of two suspension systems. the full story
