Citroen Xsara Enterprise Works For Gasworks
Published: 14th June 2003
The well-equipped Xsara Enterprise is fitted as standard with remote central locking, ABS with EBD and EBA, electric front windows, variable power assisted steering and five doors, to provide convenient, three-way load accessibility.
Supplied by Freeborn Garages Ltd, Southampton, Gasworks’ new Xsara Enterprise vans are operated on Citroen Contract Motoring, three year contract hire agreements. The vehicles will cover 12,000 miles per year on local work in the Southampton area.
The joint owners of Gasworks, brothers Ashley and Zachary House, specified Xsara Enterprise vans for a multi-task role. Ashley House explains, "We needed smart looking, comfortable vehicles for use on our customer estimating visits. At the same time these vehicles have to carry our tools for specialist, on-site technical support work and we also have to use them for new appliance deliveries. The Xsara Enterprise is ideally suited for this multi-function role."
Gasworks, a long-established business, is a CORGI, Institute of
Plumbing, Central Heating Information Council and Energy Efficiency
Advisory registered company. As approved agents for a wide range
of well-known makes of domestic gas appliances, including Baxi boilers
and fires, Cannon cookers, Paragon fires, Valor fires and Worcester
boilers, it provides both sales and a comprehensive range of aftersales
services. The company, which has grown to be a major supplier in
the Southampton area, expects to expand with a new showroom elsewhere
in Hampshire later this year.
