More Derv-ishly Good Deals With Citroen's September Cashbacks

Citroen Saxo

Citroen has just revealed details of its hardest hitting sales campaign ever. Timed to coincide with the introduction of the new ‘52’ registration, and set to build even further upon the Company’s current all-time high popularity, Citroen is offering deals across the entire range, with particular emphasis on its highly acclaimed HDi diesel models.

UK sales of diesel-engined cars have risen by 50% this year to take almost a quarter of all new car sales, yet Citroen has outpaced even this growth, posting a remarkable 75% increase. And to ensure that diesel motoring has never been more affordable, the Company is offering a host of superb ‘diesel deals’, ranging from a brand new £2,500 cashback on all C5 2.0HDi 110hp models to a special £1,000 cashback on the C3 1.4HDi 8V.

Acclaimed as the best-looking five-door supermini around, the C3 is the latest addition to the Citroen family, offering stylish looks, large amounts of space and high levels of equipment. This £1,000 offer means that the C3 diesel is now less expensive than a similarly equipped Saxo diesel was when it was launched six years ago, while a new £500 cashback on all other models ensures that both diesel and petrol fans can drive away in a C3 for under £9,000.

Drivers looking for hot hatch petrol performance and handling won’t miss out either, with a £1,500 cashback on the Saxo VTS making it available for £10,310 – around £2,300 less than it was at its launch in 1997! Sporty VTR and Furio and high-spec Desire models receive £980 cashback and free insurance, while the UK’s best ever selling Citroen range is further strengthened by the offer of one year’s free insurance for drivers aged 18-80 who order a Saxo 1.1i Forte via the company’s personal contract scheme – £700 cashback means that buyers can drive away in this model for just £5,995.

High value for money family motoring, in the shape of the Citroen Berlingo Multispace, also gets a boost. Providing a highly practical alternative to traditional family cars, the Berlingo Multispace boasts sliding side doors for easy access and massive amounts of boot space. And cashbacks of £1,265 for all diesel models, and £1,000 for the petrol versions, mean that the range starts from as little as £7,995.

Available in Hatchback, Estate and Coupe versions, all Citroen Xsara models come with ABS, four airbags and automatic air conditioning as standard. The refined and frugal Xsara 2.0HDi 90hp LX saloon and estate diesel models are particularly appealing thanks to an impressive £1,870 cashback, while cashbacks of up to £1,380 are available on all other models, with the five door 1.4i LX saloon fitting most household needs at under £9,000.

The UK’s best selling compact MPV, the Citroen Xsara Picasso, has achieved its remarkable success thanks to its unique combination of stylish good looks, a roomy and family-friendly interior and its exceptional value for money. To reinforce this, September sees cashback of £1,770 offered on the 2.0HDi LX diesel model, while 1.6i LX models come with £800 and the best-selling SX and top-of-the-range Exclusive models receive £1,500.

Executive travel is also now more affordable, with unprecedented cashbacks available on the refined and technologically advanced Citroen C5. Visitors to Citroen showrooms can get £2,500 cashback on all 2.0HDi 110hp models and £2,000 on all other diesel models. Cashbacks of up to £2,600 are also available on all petrol models. However, the biggest deals can be found by logging on to the Citroen website – www.citroen.co.uk – where there are awesome savings of £3,000 on the 2.0HDi 90hp LX and 2.0i 16V SX Automatic Saloons.
