Richard Pops Round To Pick Up His Prize Berlingo
Published: 25th October 2003
What made this new car hand over different was that Richard literally did pick up his new car. As the winner of the Citroen Vans Trophy for Britain’s Strongest Man 2003, 22 stone Richard has the muscle to lift a lot more than most. He proved this in a closely fought final in Scarborough where he clinched victory with his impressive display of speed, endurance, stamina and awesome strength.
As Britain’s Strongest Man, Richard takes delivery of a New Look Citroen Berlingo Multispace 2.0HDi for a year. The arctic steel MPV will be the ideal car for carrying Britain’s Strongest Man to events throughout the UK and as family transport. Richard says, "The Berlingo Multispace has got the room I need – for myself and the family. It’s ideal for my busy schedule as Britain’s Strongest Man 2003."
Robert Handyside, Citroen’s commercial vehicle operations
manager, comments, "Citroen is delighted to continue
its long-running association with the Britain’s Strongest
Man competition. We are now entering our fifth year together."
