Citroen is helping new car buyers to keep the pounds off this Christmas by extending its innovative VAT Free promotion, that offers savings of up to £3,700 on some models, through to the end of December.
As a result, the funky new C3, which has just been awarded 4 stars in the latest Euro NCAP crash tests and which was the highest placed supermini in the recent 2003 European Car Of The Year Awards, is available from just £7,326. In addition the Xsara Picasso compact MPV, set to take the title of the UK’s best selling MPV for the second year in a row, starts at under £11,000.
Buyers of the New Look Berlingo Multispace, which has just been launched in the UK, can also benefit from this unique offer. Starting from an attractive VAT Free figure of around £8,000, the model’s rugged new look is complemented by an enhanced specification that includes electric front windows, central locking and remote controlled stereo.
Now Citroen’s superb value car range starts at just £5,795 for the popular Saxo supermini, which also benefits from the availability of free insurance on all models, while at the top end the refined and technologically advanced C5 is available from just over £12,500.
"We have achieved all time record sales in 2002 and we want to finish the year with an attractive offer to all potential new car buyers", commented Alain Favey, Managing Director of Citroen U.K. "This offer will finish on the 31st December so there has, literally, never been a better time to buy a new Citroen".Published 29 November 2002
