New Look Berlingo Looks Good For Baldwin!

Citroen Berlingo

Twenty New Look Berlingo vans are now going into service with A Baldwin & Company (Builders) Ltd. The long-established, Leeds headquartered company, has ordered New Look Berlingo 800D LX vans to replace Kangoos and Combos.

Supplied by Citroen dealer, Reg Vardy, Leeds, Baldwin’s New Look Berlingos will be used by its skilled joiners, plumbers and electricians to carry tools, equipment and materials. Baldwin’s associated in-house and third party fleet maintenance operation, has racked the vans out to suit the requirements of each individual driver.

The company will keep its New Look Berlingos for three years. During this time the vans, which are operated on Appleyard Vehicle Contracts, non-maintenance contract hire agreements, will cover some 75,000 miles.

Martin Wright, A Baldwin & Company (Builders) Ltd’s fleet manager, comments, "We liked the look of the New Look Berlingo, which is well equipped and offers the optimum combination of value for money, suitability for purpose and an excellent standard of safety equipment. Our previous Citroen commercial vehicle experience has shown that they are reliable and have low operating costs."

A Baldwin & Company (Builders) Ltd is a division of a multi-faceted, skills-based, family owned business group, employing over 350 skilled trades-people. The company provides a full range of building maintenance services to all major councils, housing associations and central government departments. The Baldwin Group, which operates some 270 vehicles, also includes divisions providing glazing, architectural metalwork, plumbing and other specialist construction-related services.
