The New Citroen C5: More Than Just A Facelift
Published: 9th October 2004
Citroen C5
In a sector dominated by company car buyers, Citroen’s New Look C5 is especially well placed to appeal to both fleet managers and user choosers alike, offering state-of-the-art engines with low fuel consumption and low emissions as well as plenty of on-board technologies to appeal to drivers who spend long hours pounding the UK’s busy roads.
100% Useful Technology
The previous generation C5 blazed a trail in the use of innovative technology, and New Look C5 continues to set the pace, becoming the first Citroen to be equipped with advanced and useful new features such as a Lane Departure Warning System, Xenon Dual Function Directional headlamps and Front Parking Sensors.
It now also offers laminated acoustic side windows and a speed limiter - uncommon on cars in its sector - as well as an upgraded version of Citroen’s latest generation Hydractive 3 suspension system. All New Look C5's are fitted with the TrafficMaster Oracle system, offering real time traffic information, as well as a multi-function on-board computer, whilst automatic headlamps, rain-sensitive windscreen wipers and a low tyre pressure warning are available on many models.
