Citroen have ended the Swedish Rally on a truly high note, with Colin McRae and fellow Citroen Xsara driver Sebastian Loeb sharing the Rally Drivers’ Championship top spot with 12 points each. The team itself is now Number One in the Constructors’ Championship with 24 points.
McRae’s determined efforts over the past three days have earned him fifth place overall in the Rally of Sweden, gaining four points for his team. As a result, he has earned Citroen two more World Championship points and kept his own place at the top of the Drivers’ Championship Standings.
