Citroen Puts The Max Into Max Power Live!
Published: 2nd July 2003
Co-sponsors of the Cruise Strip event, where drivers will perform a number of mad stunts including doughnuts and burn outs, three Citroen cars will be on show including the very latest in chic, the convertible C3 Pluriel supermini together with a specially modified Xsara and Saxo, both from the Cituning stable. Adding to the unique flavour of the event, Citroen is also sponsoring the Sweeties, four babes who will cheerlead the live action on the Strip.
Inside the exhibition area, visitors will be able to meet and have their picture taken with Max Power Babes Jordan, Jakki and Leilani, together with the best collection of modified Citroens ever assembled. 26 Saxos, 3 Xsaras and 1 C3 will compete for the £1000 prize and title of best modified Citroen in a competition judged by Max Power magazine assessing modifications to bodywork, interior, engine, brakes, suspension, wheels and tyres, and in car entertainment (ICE).
Three Citroen cars will join this display, a C3 Pluriel, a standard Saxo and a Xsara WRC rally car, a replica of the car that currently lies second in the race for the manufacturers title in the current world rally championship.
Citroen is also giving visitors the opportunity to win a Saxo VTR, which will be modified for both bodywork and ICE by Ripspeed during the three days of the event. Every visitor can enter the prize draw to win the car by visiting the Cruise Strip, the Citroen area or the Ripspeed stand.
Rounding off the massive Citroen presence at the event will be the Max Power babes in a modified Citroen C8 people carrier, showing that all genres of vehicle are open to modification, as well as a specially modified C3 featuring a Cituning body kit and the very latest ICE from Blaupunkt.
With the latest digital equipment, dvd player, playstation and
no less than 2,500 watts of amplification and speakers to match,
this stunning C3 will be able to be heard all the way from the M6.
