Citroen's first online auction linking the company’s network of approved used car dealers to a physical auction, saw 120 cars from across the range achieve a 100% sale conversion, and record prices averaging a remarkable 114% of CAP Clean value.
Conducted by BCA at their Measham auction centre on 24 September, the success of the sale was in part attributed to Citroens Approved Used Car dealers being able to watch proceedings live via the internet and bid remotely against buyers in the auction hall. BCA’s Live Online system delivers all the atmosphere and ambience of the auction direct to the dealer’s PC.
The results were particularly pleasing for the company as they reflect the growing demand for the marque’s range in the used car market. This comes at a time when Citroen have just launched the significantly revised New Look C5 and will shortly be launching the stunning family sized C4.
