CORGI registered Gas Call Services Ltd has just started a complete fleet replacement programme which sees the company move to Citroen cars and vans. The first new Citroens to join Easterhouse-headquartered Gas Call’s 40 strong fleet are 15 Berlingo 2.0HDi 800 vans, two Relay 1100 vans and three C5 2.2HDi SX cars.

All the vehicles are being supplied by Parks Citroen, Coatbridge and are operated on Parks or T.O.Ms of Airdrie three year with maintenance contract hire agreements. The vehicles will cover some 30,000 miles per year.

Mike Donnelly, Gas Call’s managing director, comments "Gas Call is a quality assured company, which provides its customers with a high quality service. We expect our vehicles, like every other aspect of our business, to reflect the company’s high standards. Citroen offered the well equipped vehicle choice we required for our operation, together with low operating costs."

From its headquarters and depots in Glasgow and Manchester, Gas Call provides a wide range of heating, gas services and central heating installation services. The company is one of the largest of its type in Scotland and the north of England, with a customer base which includes British Gas, local authorities and housing associations.
