Christmas? Expensive? …Not Always
Christmas is traditionally an expensive time… but not this year! Citroen is ditching tradition and reintroducing its great value ‘No VAT’ offer across almost its entire range including, for the very first time, the unique C3 Pluriel.
Thanks to Citroen’s award-nominated VAT-free offer, which also applies to factory-fit options, there are massive savings of up £4,000 throughout December on all models except for the recently launched C2. There is £500 cashback on C2 L, LX and SX models, and a range of sporty Saxo, C2 and Xsara models come with free insurance, whilst selected models are also available with low cost or 0% finance.
The C3 Pluriel is already the most adaptable small car on the road. It can convert from a highly efficient supermini, able to see off the most miserable British weather, into one of four other body styles, including a stylish cabriolet which, at the touch of a button, allows occupants to make the most of any winter sun. Citroen’s latest deals mean there is £1,924 off the list price of the 1.6i 16V model, with the 1.4i available from just over £10,000.
The VAT-free offer across the rest of the C3 range means possible savings of some £2,300 on the 1.4HDi 16V Exclusive and prices of under £7,500 for the entry-level 1.1i L. The ever popular Xsara Picasso starts at under £11,350 for the 1.6i LX, complete with four airbags, ABS and loads of space, while Britain’s favourite budget MPV, the Berlingo Multispace, starts at just over £8,000 and provides plenty of room for loading presents.
And Aunt Mabel may think she’s overdone it on the sherry when she hears about savings of up to £3,700 on the massively spacious and practical C5 hatch and estate, while the highly refined C8 full-size MPV provides added seats, practicality and enormous value, with savings of up to £4,000.Published 1 December 2003
