And, at no extra cost, until further notice, all C5 VTR hatchbacks sold to national fleets benefit from a VTR Sports Pack worth £400. The VTR Sports Pack includes a chrome-effect mesh lower front grille and a rear spoiler.

Though designed to project a sporting image, C5 VTR models also include a wide range of additional features to ensure that they are an efficient, safe and practical means of business transport. As such, drivers benefit from air conditioning, six front, lateral and curtain airbags.

ABS with EBA and EBD, RDS radio/CD player, Trafficmaster Oracle, front/rear electric windows and advanced Citroen Hydractive 3 computer-controlled suspension, which provides both exceptional road holding and class-leading ride comfort.

Estate versions of the C5 VTR are fitted with aluminum effect roof bars, a retractable passenger cabin safety net and a reversible protective boot net, and have many additional load carrying advantages, including:-
  • Self-leveling suspension (no more nose-up driving when heavily laden)
  • Boot-mounted load-height adjuster to raise/lower loading height from 493 – 653mm
  • Long, flat load floor and class-leading seat-up load volume
  • Separate, opening rear window in tailgate

The manual hatchback version of the C5 2.0HDi 110hp VTR returns over 50mpg on the combined cycle and a tax-busting CO2 figure of 147g/km puts it into the 18% BIK category. The C5 1.8i 16V VTR hatchback has a 19% BIK rating, with CO2 emissions of 182g/km and a combined figure of almost 37mpg. With very competitive recommended retail prices that start from just £15,500, and insurance group ratings which start at 8E, the new, expanded C5 VTR range consists of:-

  • C5 1.8i 16V VTR hatchback @ £15,500
  • C5 2.0i 16V VTR hatchback @ £16,000
  • C5 2.0i 16V Auto VTR hatchback @ £17,200
  • C5 2.0i 16V VTR estate @ £17,100
